澳洲酸枝不是小相思木。澳洲酸枝是澳大利亚相思木中商品名为Lancewood的一种木材，也被称为澳洲酸枝。其拉丁名为Acaciashirleyi，商品名为Lancewood，产自澳大利亚。

澳洲酸枝的木质细腻均匀，具有纹理，材质硬重，气干密度在1020-1150公斤每立方米之间。原木的边材极薄，一般在1公分以内，出材率明显比非洲酸枝（可乐豆）木要高。其干缩率极小，径向干缩为1%，弦向干缩为1.8%，稳定性极佳。
